Is this possible? I'm thinking of going active and putting a SC on my prefix. I could consider both options if 1 SC can do both.

The answer is no. It has to be one or the other. I own an active setup and asked the same question a few months ago. It's something to do with earthing. In my case I use a hicap for the prefix and run the SNAXO from the SC. Other reports huge gains by using a prefix with an SC but you'll have to buy another and they don't come cheap.

I am curious why you went to passive with your SL2's. It sounds like you used to be active. Did you get one of the new amps to drive the SL'2s.
