Good morning,
This evening I get my new Supercap II* to replace my Hi Cap. What can I expect apart from a big hole in my purse?
* aiming for 252
current system: CDX/XPS/102/250(framed) /ProAc2.5

Hello Reto,
My experience is by replacing a HC with 1-year "old series" SC for an 82. No idea, how your 102 responds....but as you're aiming for a 252, this question is probably of temporary nature anyway
Besides the whole in your pocket you should get more room and also better bass (I guess these two are interdependent) and what I would call an additional layer of music & "colour", which was hidden before.
Incidentally, this superior performance was already excellent on the speakers, but it was really astonishing on my headphone (Stax Omega 2)
