I hope they don't blame Ponting, he's last man standing from a truly great side (now has Clarke but only recently).

Ponting's a fantastic player and over the past few years they have had several world class players retire. Three or four of whom were among the very best in their slot. Warne, McGrath, Gilchrist, Hayden etc. Take out Lee and Langer - either of whom would get a game for England and how many sides wouldn't be weakened?

Don't get me wrong, let's beat them every series and then some but if the Aussies blame Ponting, they are barking. I hope he carries on. I certainly can't see anyone better in that side as it stands.
