Anyone tried a different cable with thier ittock. What were the results. Recommendations welcome.
What type of cable plug is at the base of the ittock.

Hi all
I would also like to know of anybodies experience with replacing the arm cable, especially in regards to dressing it. I was wondering about Russ Andrews Kimber cable arm lead and how it would affect the suspension as I beleive tightening the P-Clip on kimber might not be very good for it.

I use the lightest/cheapest RA/Kimber cable on my Ittok (red/blue weave thing, can't remember the name), because I was having hum problems with my Sugden Masterclass phono-stage. RA supply the cable with an SME plug which seems to fit the Ittok. Cable change didn't affect the LP12 set-up, and didn't really affect the sound much. Probably not worth the effort, although the silver cable could be interesting. (The problem turned out to be a noisey cartridge).
p.s. don't forget that there are two grub screws on the Ittok holding the cable, only undo the lower one.
