Naim Uniti / UnitiQute XS Series for distribution next month

Just kidding LOL. Sorry. Had to do it. Seriously though, Do you think Naim will ever produce an XS series for their networked audio range? A beefed up power supply would be really nice to drive larger speakers. Perhaps some additional upgrade paths for the Qute. Both products could feature the brushed aluminum front fascia. An upgraded remote would be nice as well (lower cost version of the 555 remote) perhaps cast aluminum? I'm greedy I know
P.S. What are your thoughts on this? Do you dislike the idea?. Or do you think it would be a great option?

I am confused. What is wrong with the current offerings? They dont match other boxes?

Hi pcstockton! Nothing wrong with the current offerings. In fact I plan on purchasing my first Naim gear (uniti or unitiqute) very soon. The XS series (my understanding) is a tweaked version of the "i" series. So in addition to the standard Naim uniti offerings, I thought it would be nice for Naim to offer something "hot-rodded". Mainly a larger power supply and for the Qute a few extra outputs (if they could squeeze anything else in) for extra upgrade options. I could be wrong...but my understanding is that the Qute can not be "upgraded" with an external power supply...and the only way to use it as a source with a larger Naim amp would be through the purchase of the Naim DAC. Also, I like the brushed aluminum of the xs series.

P.S. I guess my answers to the UnitiQute upgrade path will be answered once I can get my hands on an owner's manual (that should be soon).
