Ewen,
Many thanks for that - I remember you posting the list but couldn't see it - I'll have a trawl through and see what I don't recognise - I'm sure there will some great new discoveries in there.
Regards
VZ

My wife and I are both huge Smiths fans, but we cannot decide which is our favorite Smiths album (Did they make a bad one?). When ever we listen to a particular album, it automatically becomes our favorite.
We have decided to have a Smiths shoot out.
6 albums, 2 per night, with the best 3 going into the final listen (No compilation or b-side albums. OK, "Louder Than Bombs" just about sneaks in).
At the moment, my favorite is "Meat is Murder", my wife's is "The Queen is Dead". Who knows what the outcome will be?
Let the music begin!

Haim,
As you are always providing me with musical tips, perhaps I can do the same. Although I have not got this particular one, these are worth investigating.

I've got quite a few more of his on vinyl, but they would take longer to find. Some are under his other name Dollar Brand. He is also great live if you get a chance to see him.

Nic & Adrian,
Thanks for all the recommendations.
I don't know about 'No Fear to Die' but I hope that I will not have 'fear to try' the rest of his stuff. He seems to have so many albums.
Regards,
Haim

This has just been released on CISCO 45 RPM Vinyl. Only 6,000 copies made and selling fast. Available from Acoustic sounds and Elusive Disc. Also a Gold CD version is about to be released - meant to sound even better if that is possible.
