Thanks for that BigH! It's indeed a cool trick and quicker than searching directly on amazon.
(Link corrected btw.)

This is No.762 of the 6000 Smile. By far better that the 20th Anniversary CD. The 32XB-123 made in Japan would be my second choice right now. Lets see what the Gold version has to offer.

Keen to hear your reaction, Haim. I sporadically have been in touch with Ibrahim, back to the days, when he still called himself Dollar Brand. In my books, there is light and shadow. This one being strong.

Stefan,

I ordered it (have nothing by Ibrahim) as well as the Antakia disc.

Picked up this boxed set on vinyl from eBay.

This was 1984 reissue on five discs in the original album formats of Jazz Samba, Big Band Bossa Nova, Jazz Samba Encore, Getz/Gilberto and Getz/Almeida.

On side 10 of disc 5 there are three live tracks from a 1964 concert at Carnegie Hall. Although I already had four of these recordings on CD the chance to get them on vinyl was just too tempting. I think I may becoming obsessive, as I have an increasing number of duplicates on different formats. They are coming to take me away ha ha!

BTW the CD reissue has even more tracks on, but I like to hear them a side at a time as they were originally issued. Great condition, very happy.

Regards

Nic

Thanks, Stefan.

Light & shadow.. you sound like you are talking about photography.

How is Perl's In Darkness compared to Potter's Darkness on ECM?

Meanwhile, I'm a listening to ye olde
