A day off work, listening to Haydn piano trios:

Re Incredible String Band. Precocious titled album.
What an annoying singer it's a shame it's not an instrumental. Smile
I can see why Danny Thompson only made one album with them, even he couldn't save it for me.
I can see why people who like the childish Syd will like this too.
Life too short stopped album after The M ad H at ter's so ng.

And now for something completely different:-

One hell of a guest list.

Shares some thing with ISB in having an annoying singer but for a different reason. Smile

Led Zeppelin - Madison Square Gardens, New York, 28 July 1973 (bootleg, 3 discs, soundboard, complete show).

Munch.
I have been playing Steve Wilson 'Insurgentes' quite a bit, I like it more than the last two Porcupine Tree albums, but don't feel it compares with the albums from 'Signify' through to 'In Absentia'.

'Insurgentes' (disc 1) gets very dark toward the end, although I do like the title track a lot. The second disc has not made much impression on me at all. Not watched the DVD yet.

live and studio recordings from 1955 to 1969, in both mono and stereo, of Friedrich Gulda playing Bach (and finishing with a piece composed by himself, Prelude and Fugue).
