I went to a concert with Peter Gabriel and Genesis at Ekeberghallen, Oslo in 1975.
They were playing this album, track by track, a great show!

Remember a concert with Procul Harum at Njårdhallen, Bærum in 1973 or 74. It was great!

Nothin' can excite me as a double live rock cd played by an hungry, angry young man on his fenders.
A lot here shows turntables that come the double my humble car does and still i can't see their names left, high over the cover of "Where the light is - Live in Los Angeles".

Maybe this is the one to get you into opera.
If not, this one could do instead - this is a lovely album. Enrico Rava - L'Opera Va

This is a very good album.

On ECM - One of the albums of the year for me. Atmosphereric, challenging icy and warming! New trumpet sounds from Arve Henriksen.

Unlikely, I'm afraid, Adrian. There's no singing on the Trovesi CD, and it's the style of singing in opera that sets my teeth on edge. Thanks for the Rava (et. al.)recommendation - I haven't heard of it, and it looks interesting.
Looks like I'll be joining you at the Nik Bartsch gig in London - at least one friend of mine is interested in going.
Regards
Nigel
Almost forgot to mention - I'm back on the Haydn piano trios now.
