Bob Pelander "The Wait"

I went to one of his gigs about 10 years ago and was bored stiff. I'd browsed this album for years and years and I always decided because I'm not a real fan to not bother. At a record (vinyl) fair last weekend though I noticed it and thought I'd give it a listen. Well, some of the tracks really are just to die for, e.g., Madame George. Sublime - from not a great fan.....

Esoteric - The Maniacal Veil. Superb crushing Doom with Pink Floyd references.

Ahh for the days of 1995. I saw them in concert and they came out and sprayed beer over everyone. Their albums were great low fi fun...

And hey kids, how can you not miss the garbage cans labeled puke and piss. They were a really fun band to see.

Panthalassa: the remixes (Miles Davis). I love Panthalassa, Bill Lazwells's reconstruction/edit/remix of Miles Davis recordings from 1969-74, but had always stayed away from the dance remix. But £2.74 at Amazon was too hard to resist.
At least I only wasted the cost of a pint.
This album is really pointless, it neither has the guts to reconstruct from scratch like some good remixes, and failing that, slapping a bit of drum machine and synth, over music that already stands for itself is a pointless exercise.
Avoid this, have that pint instead.
