I still need to get my hands on this one.

Great family trip, fantastic weather, stayed at the Sheraton just accross the place you recommended. Landed an hour ago - time to get back to some music. Cool

That's a nice place to stay - great pool and beach. We stayed there as well last year, went across the road for dinner and that was it. Packed our bags and moved hotel Cool

They've done an excellent job on this one.
I like the two Linda Ronstadt re-issues as well, some of the others are so so.

I tried to get a table for dinner there but for some reason fine dinning is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Confused

Oliver - these Doobie Brother releases, newly remastered Jap versions are well worth checking out. Sound quality is awesome and they are not expensive to buy either.

Much obliged for the links and info Lontano. I can see me ending up with just about everything they have released. The understanding between the trio members is unbelievable, no wonder he cannot be replaced.

Nic - there is also a live DVD worth checking out. I was lucky to see them 3 times and each time it was an amazing experience. We took friends who did not know them and they always came away enthralled. For me, one of the saddest bits of news in 2008.

Also some video clips here worth watching

Nic - despite my love for E.S.T, Leucocyte has not really grabbed me like their other albums. I would be interested to see how you get on with it. I need to try harder with it - will do tonight.

I highly recommend Seven Days of Falling, From Gagarin's Point of View (their best IMHO), Viaticum, Good Morning Susie Soho etc. A good musical journey.
