Hope you like it Jeff. I have had this on my wish list for about a year now and bumped into it in the CD store today so bought. I think it is a good CD with touches of Bruce and Steve Earle.

Even better on the Black Stuff guys ....Jim

Even my target CDs are in the Christmas spirit.

My records get all scratched when I cram them in the cd drawer Smile, actually, I sold my vinyl/equip in the 80's. But I am enjoying Ryan B. Thanks.

UPS stands for Utmost Personal Service, at least in the case of the very well connected Kuma.

I highly recommend Seven Days of Falling, From Gagarin's Point of View (their best IMHO), Viaticum, Good Morning Susie Soho etc. A good musical journey.[/QUOTE]

Lontano,

Having listened to this a couple of times tonight right the way through, I can see where you are coming from. Not an easy listen, just as well I had the place to myself tonight.

Reminds me a bit of listening to Bitches Brew. I suspect you have to be in the right mood. There is no doubting the power and brooding nature of this record, quite captivating in many ways, but a solitary listen rather than one that involves others in the same room at the same time.

Lightening the mood with Amadou and Mariam - Welcome to Mali

Regards

Nic

Joe Sample: Voices in the Rain.
I love this record! ( but this time, listening on a CD for a change )

I've discovered that it has the same drop outs on a CD.
Here I thought it was a bad record. The analogue tape must have been bad. :x

Christmas Eve in Sydney, I'm still not quite used to having Christmas in the middle of summer.
