Listening to some predictions for great music for 2009 from some folk in the know

ideas here. One such tip who has caught my ear is

Florence and the Machine Listen here

also mentioned in dispatches is someone i've been banging on about since seeing her last summer at GreenMan and falling in love with the passion in her voice and music and think she has massive potential (and says she will play Newcastle to keep me happy

) the tremendous Clare Maguire Listen here

Yeah I think she will be pretty big.... what do you think of clare Maguire, she has had very little exposure, unlike Florence but is wonderful
