A few unplanned hours of selfish tune choice tonight as my significant other is tied up at work ... does it make me a bad person to be enjoying it ?

Oliver,

Yes. A very good disc and exceptional French horn playing.

You keep posting one of my all time favorites, Paniagua's 'Musique De La Grece Antique'.

Regards,
Haim

Oliver,

I bet that your father is having a great time with you and your family.

I read about the "Musique De la Grece Antique' that during the recording session at a church someone started a truck down the street. The engine sound was left on the tape and can be heard on the disc. Have you noticed it?

Good night,
Haim

"Recorded and mixed at the famous Electric Avenue Studios, Sydney by Phil Punch, 2 @ 1, is the new release by two of Sydney's most acclaimed contemporary instrumentalists and bandleaders and long time collaborators: guitarist Guy Strazz (acoustic and electric guitars) and pianist Matt McMahon. 2 @ 1 is the sound of two musicians exploring their own music in an intimate world / jazz setting. Its 10 tracks take the listener on a journey of exploration with Guy and Matt. Matt McMahon lays down his usual harmonic beauty, and melodic creativity on the piano, while Stazz counters him on a mixture of nylon, steel string and east-west guitars."
