Yes Sia is one very cool lady - we saw her in a tiny venue here in Edinburgh last year and it was a great, intimate show. A lot of fun with the audience and the band.

Her first album 'colour the small one' is even better (IMO) than the new one and well worth checking out if you don't have it yet.

I thought I'd have a listen to my original vinyl version before the new box set turns up. I hope it's worth the money !

Just picked it up on vinyl the other day and love it. My first Mogwai. Any suggestions for other "must haves" from this artist?

Thanks for tip off, Ian.

An advantage of working from home is bring able to have music on at odd times during the day Smile Listened to the new one (again and more intently) last night with Mrs JWM, and we really enjoyed it.

The slightly tentative purchase of the 'voice from Zero7' has proved very worthwhile and we'll definitely have a dig into her other stuff.

And I thought you going to wait for this one till November. Roll Eyes Enjoy the show. Almost tempted to go myself but just a bit too far. Shame they are not coming down south.

Damn - didn't think anyone would notice!

Now playing:

Uri Caine - The Othello Syndrome. Really didn't like this at first but it's grown on me.

On ECM - Julia Hulsmann Trio.

Another excellent piano trio on ECM. Will appeal to the lovers of ECM on this forum - Nigel, Haim, Stefan , Huw, MilesSmiles etc etc
