Wild Honey Pie, Martha My Dear, Rocky Racoon and so on, are shocking. Should never have made it a double.

ANIMAL COLLECTIVE: Merriweather Post Pavilion (2009)
The band’s eighth studio album. I understand less extreme than before. Still a long trip with experimental noise, freak folk, indie rock, harmonic Beach Boys pop, African tribal chants, minimalism, minimal techno, psychedelia and dub, so is written.
Very positive reviews.
For me no mainstream alt.pop with constant quality.
