Certainly is. Many of his remastered albums are available for about £5 at Amazon. Bargains indeed after not being available for ages. I've got my order in for No, Guru, Common and a couple of others.

Enjoying this immensely whilst sat in the sweet spot, but I really have tried to get up and get some work done, but this disc 2 of 6 cd box-set is like a big magnet pulling me back the armchair... Help me! Help me! : )

nymph

Disc 2 is certainly one of my highlights from this set.

Jamie, will send you an e-mail later today. What a game - the Cards in the Super Bowl, who would have thunk. The next game should be a battle to the end. No mercy no quarter.

My first ever download of music - only MP3 but reasonable quality, and all that can be had.

Aksel Sckiotz [said like Schutz] is really a tenor in the wonderful style of Heddle Nash: virile, heroic, and just as subtle. A mile from the Italianate Belle Canto style, which all too often can become Can Belto.

The recordings range through Handel [arias from Messiah, Acis and Galathea, and Solomon], Bach [part from the Saint Matthew Passion], Dowland [Lute Songs], Tchaikowski [an aria from Eugene Onegin], and one from Gounod's Faust. Perfect diction in several languages, allied with wonderful musicianship.

Priceless actually!

ATB from George
