One of my favorite stations, especially if you get stuck there after midnight in the freezing cold & rain and the train to Brighton never makes it through. Big Grin

I take from that Oliver it is the best version you have heard.

It sounds very good but I listened to it yesterday for the first time - still want to run some direct comparisons later this week.

Thought I might as well play it rather than just do silly experiments with it ripping tracks to a computer - why is an AIFF of track #3 on this album ripped on a MacBook different from an AIFF on this album ripped on a PowerMac - I don't know and I've ceased to care, as sounds better printed to CD than burnt to CDR or ripped to a computer on the kit I've got.

Alvin and the boys - what a fine band they were.

You gotta love the 80s Big Grin

I've got 5 of their albums. Colin just had this arrive by post so I thought I'd rip it and have a listen. I'd forgotten just how good they are.
Songs For the Front Row is a good selection and sounds really good too. Several from Moseley Shoals (which I don't have, yet).

Any blues fans out there need to be buying this immediately. It's the best of British!

Dave.
