I love most Beatles records, in particular the White Album, munch. When the "Naked" album was issued, teh reviews were raging about it, and sounded promising, so I bought it. Played it 2-3 times (to make sure it wasn't a mood thing), and then never again.

Different tastes are good.

cheers
Stefan

Interesting, Haim.

I specifically noticed the interaction between the musicians. Which is why I called it "inspired and inspiring", since I feel touched by the homogenous music making. No "stars" (maybe Galliano, a bit). Instead, a real band. Not an easy task for personalities like Rubalcaba and (to an extent) Haden.

However, I absolutely respect your perception, Haim !!

cheers
Stefan

Stefan,

I am still having difficulties with this album. At times I am left with the impression that those guys are not playing together.

Ram John Holder - Black London Blues

Had an old and very poorly recorded bootleg cassette tape of this bought from Rough trade in Talbot Road many years ago - I think I wore it out - very happily managed to score a near mint vinyl copy the other day Smile

James,

A great album indeed. I haven't listened to it in a bit and was picking out a couple of LPs to take to my dealers for a listen tomorrow and put it on my trusty LP12 for a spin. Hard to believe it came out 12 years ago. Where did the time go.

Regards
Matt
