I absolutely think it is a marmite thing..............hell this would be a dull place if we all liked the same thing. Mind some people on here don't even like DSOTM but i'm mentioning no names

If you like sweet folk/country music in the vein of some of our rising british folk stars (though she is Austrailian)you may well like this. ROTF I think you may be impressed. If you like kate Rusby, Cara Dillon and Martha Tilston you may well like.

The famous Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach, played by Helmut Walcha in 1947 at Lubeck Dom on the small [very large for its time] organ. This organ was played by Buterhude, who was a hige inspiration to the young Bach!
Most of all the performance is a tour de force, and really caries off both the weight in the music, the blistering energy of it!

Hi George, good shout - I haven't listened to this in ages. Toccata and Fugue, Prelude and Fugue and Fantasia and Fugue played on a Danish Organ by Karl Richter in the mid '60s.

Dear Ian,
That looks just the ticket. I read elsewhere of your LP12 situation.
That looks like an LP, so hopefully will sound glorious soon enough!

Animal Collective ~ Merriweather Post Pavilion
Now after a few listens is starting to grow - took a punt on something new & unheard (unusual for me) after seeing the glowing review in February Record Collector magazine.
