It is a very good album. One of the better ones I have bought this year. Quite a diverse selection of tracks

~<>~ Ludwig van Beethoven ~<>~
The Nine Symphonies [Import] [Box set]
Playing disc 5 of 5 cd-set...
Symphony no.9
Josef Krips conducting the London Symphony Orchestra.
Have played all 5 of this set now and imho this is warmer, more characterful, and a much preferable listen than the Karajan box set versions which i find rather fatiguing.
Available via Amazon at bargain basement prices of around a fiver, this is Very Recommended! : )

Agreed, this album is incredible. When choosing what to listen to if I can't decide this is the one that gets played.
