How do you post a picture? My earlier effort does not seem to work.

Before you reply, find the image you want.

Google image search, click in the picture at the top once you are on the page and it will go to just the image and your navigation bar will show the address of just the picture. Flag and copy the address:

Or right click in Firefox (not sure about Internet Explorer), and click on 'Copy Image Location'.

(Sorry if that is a too obvious, but best to say it).

When you post a message there are a number of boxes above the text space, if you click on the second one from the right, a (very) little landscape image, it brings up a box 'Image URL', paste the image address you have copied into the image URL space, and hit OK.

Don't worry about 'Align Image' to start with.

Hope that helps.

____________

I did try a copy the image location you used, sometime webistes will allow you in, but block remote image use, so you can do all that correctly, and then the website you are accessing stops it working.

It might show at first, on your machine, as the image is in your temporary internet cache, but when that clears, you get the empty box. Others see nothing.

Avoid blogs, Myspace, etc. as sources of images, also any that ask you to save the image when you double click from Google. Amazon are good for allowing images to be used remotely, and also you can often keep clicking on the images for larger versions. Wikipedia is also a good source.

Also if you use an image from another forum that requires membership, then you will often find, that you can see the image, but it is blocked from others in the same way as the caching works.
______________

Someone will now just post a link with better advice on how to do this from the FAQ section that I have missed, no doubt.

Best way I always found Jamie was right click on the picture. Click properties, highlight the address and click copy.

Then open reply box, click on display image on it's toolbar. Right click in empty box and paste.

Click ok

You make it look too simple... Winker
... but that's how I do it as well.

Symphony no.11 in G minor "1905", Op.103

Moscow Pholharmonic Symphony Orchestra
Kirill Kondrashin conductor
Recordings of 1973

[ADD] Stereo Melodiya CD @ Jan 2007

So far all of these symphonies have sounded really great from this 11cd box-set.
This is my 2nd play of symph no.11 "1905", a lot of tense excitable drumming makes for a very loud listen! : )

On the third day, Elderado, and Face the Music, are imho about the best ELO albums to get musically, and a fantastic box-set if only the vinyl is well made.

I hope your box full are okay Huwge! : )
