all on vinyl

p.s. not sure what she's eating-- good music though-- a mid-90s brooklyn indie-pop band that Julie Cafritz and Kim Gordon discovered. I think Thurston Moore helped produce one or two of their albums. They sound kind of like a scaled back Sonic Youth...

Jeff gave you the best place to hunt for them. They are all OOP and you have to go to the second hand market. You can still get your hands on most Jazz titles for a reasonable price. Many other DCC titles are very expensive by now. The good news is that Steve Hoffman just launched a whole series of new remasters on Gold with the Audio Fidelity label, you can go to their web site for details.

Cheers ... Oliver

I'm still up!! - watching the TV though. I think you'll find that Smiley Smile Miles buys most of these DCC discs second hand largely from the Hoffman forum. He has also been collecting them for many years so he also collected a lot of them new as they were released.

You will also find some at dccblowout.com. I'm sure he will be along soon with more info as he is in Sydney and it is only early afternoon there.

Cheers
Adrian

Well there you go, he beat me to it.

Now the cool thing is that if you sign up for the whole AF Gold CD or LP series you receive little presents with it along the way. Not sure what to make of the first one so that comes with Alice Cooper's 'School's Out'. Big Grin

Yes it does... and I have listened to it (to music played by it actually!) almost continuously for the past 15 months! I am glued to my seat!

You really should consider buying the official soundtrack then:
Posted on: 20 February 2009 by Lontano
Not seen that one before Jeff - it gets some good reviews on amazon. Anyway, closing my account today with one of my fave albums. This just always takes me back to the wonderful concert of theirs last year at the Sydney Opera House.
