They are indeed, on first listening I prefer 'Let's get it on' over 'What's going on' from a pure sound perspective.

They are indeed, on first listening I prefer 'Let's get it on' over 'What's going on' from a pure sound perspective.

I personally prefer What's but to me the sound on Let's is stunning. I think What's on my system is a little warmer sounding.
Let's Get It On's sound is stunning. There are things I am hearing for the first time from this album.

I blow hot and cold with this, the melancholy is sometimes a little overbearing for a grey winter's day, but today it is working well. Between her, Billie Holiday and Marianne Faithful there can't be much more emotional depth to be plumbed by a female voice (outside of classical music).
