I walk in front of that building almost every other day, and yes when I find a red jumper the leica camera will be ready.
the opening few minutes of side two of that one has probably my favourite Oberhiem OB-X synth sounds ever recorded......nope not a moog taurus as normaly thought.

Ewen,
try Monk's Music or Brilliant Corners if you can, they tend to be more accessible than some of his other stuff. Anything from Riverside gets my vote, not so fond of his CBS stuff although I have it all.

Will do Huw thought you might point me in the right direction. Was going to email you as I saw you had got a box set of Monk and you were loving it.

I love the way Yes can bring out such powerful positive and negative views on music.

Have had the Riverside on original LP (most), CD box-set with all Riverside studio + unreleased cuts and more recently the LP set of the Riverside tenor sessions. It took me a while to "get" Monk but now he is one of my "save from house on fire" artists. It's a toss up between my original pressing of Monk's Music and Kathleen Ferrier singing Bach & Handel arias which gets grabbed first.
The Blue Note Genius of Modern Music discs, with extras, are a good way of understanding his approach. Hopefully you can find a way to unlocking him.

Do you have the shiny reflective paper inside the album that you roll up to make Rick 3D on the cover ? I have an extra if you need it. Best multi-tracked Moog intro to an album ever by they way, and the last track is great, it's everything in between that scares me
