Jeremy - I hope you get on with it. Opeth is not the kind of music I usually buy either but I have fallen for their album Damnation. This is different from all their other albums in that it is mellow, acoustic and has no death vocals on it. I got into them because of their association with Steve Wilson of Porcupine Tree. All their other albums do have the death vocals and are much heavier. Even though I do not like the death vocals alot, their instrumentation is outstanding and they also mix in normal vocals and they are all good albums. I am now playing Delievrance for the first time to check it out. Do try Damnation though - that is defintely Sunday morning music!

Underworld 'The Bells, The Bells' (import)
Lovely to get a studio recording of 'Parc', some good remixes too, although 'Boy, Boy, Boy' Switch mix is terrible.

The one I just played was actually very enjoyable and perfect for Sunday morning. I have a few others of his and they are all very good.
