I was thinking earlier that is JT's Ellen DeGeneres look.

Great album, particularly if you are a fan. All covers and JT has always chosen his cover songs well, highlighted here for me by Jimmy Webb's "Witchita Lineman" and Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne". Tremendous ensemble playing, the band was all-together for several weeks recording and thusly there is a "live"ness to the sound. For me an easy recommendation.

best regards

Played first disc of JZ and thought it was very good. Played Arild in the car this morning and it did not grab me. I have tickets to see him next week and not sure I would want to listen to that set. I will give it another play this week and let you know how it goes. Maybe it was the wrong music for 7.30 in the morning.

PS - the Aaron Parks is worth checking out

I know what you mean (w/r music in the morning) I usually like it smooth more likely than hectic, in the morning. Does your trip to work give you a full CD length time ?

Myself, now:
