Adrian,
still digesting (and enjoying). Not like any other Trovesi, but then they are all different. In sum: Yes. Nice production, too !

Hi Stefan, Adrian, etc. Just saw this among the forthcoming releases on the ECM website:
Do you know anything about this music? Should I buy it??
Cheers

Nigel - these are highly regarded albums but I have to say they have never done too much for me but then I have not tried too hard with them. They are multi-ethnic recordings - lots of ethinic rhythmic instruments, bit of flute or trumpet over the top in places and some vocal mutterings in places.
I suppose it really depends how much you like that kind of music but it is definitely not your Scandinavian type of ECM. I am currently playing Codona and it is getting better as it progresses. You've got me going though as I cannot find my copy of Codona 3 - hope it did not get lost in the move. A search job tomorrow night.

Now this one, I will definitely be buying

Susanna and her Magical Orchestra - Melody Mountain
Will appeal to fans of more interesting female vocals. On the Rune Gramfon label.(Just found she is sister of ECM artist Christian Wallumrod)

Thanks Adrian, that helps - think I'll buy the Kuhn set first, and try the Don Cherry before I take the plunge.
