The Codona sessions are a bit on the esoteric side, yet amongst my (30 ?) dearest records, ever. Especially volume II gets played frequently, here. It is the combination of various trumpets (US style), voice and percussion (Nana also plays on some of the best Egberto Gismonti discs and brings in the South American, tribal, bushy touch) and the sadly missed Oregon founder and member, who signs responsable for the Indian touch, which makes this a great mix.

Didn't know about the "Trilogy Edition", so I have to thank you for this hint !

Dub Colossus - In a town called Addis, just outstanding. A real candidate for disc of the year. Any fans of Les Éthiopiques will love this.

Sometimes one is right in the mood for some good music.............maybe it's because it's my first day home but I have really been uplifted by these toons today.............feeling good!!
