I have never heard this piece. Would this be a good recording to get? Thanks.

Pat

A great recording. Just went to see 'La Boheme' in the Sydney Opera house a few weeks back - great performance but forgot to bring my hankie. Winker

Anyone compared the Arcade Fire CD to the vinyl version? CD sounds bloody awful on the Naim.

Not long now...

"We are expecting delivery of the CD version early next week and will start shipping them immediately. Rest of the World, then Euope then UK.
Vinyl will follow after the CDs in the same way - Rest of World first, Europe next, UK last.
The idea being everyone SHOULD receive it about the same time."

Burning Shed

UK last - bummer. Looking forward to it arriving.

that's what I found, as well (with equally ridiculous EUR quotes). Still curious (nice line-up...)

cheers

You know sometimes your system just rocks? Well mine's doing that for me this evening, after a week when it kind-of "out to lunch". "All of which are American dreams".

Art Pepper ~ Intensity

Japanese First Pressing VDJ-1581
Don't know how popular these discs are on the forum but if you do come across one second hand grab it, the sound quality is just amazing.
