Great Sacred Music program on local classical station. I try to listen most Sundays. Available for online listening as well.

Miles Davis - Complete Bitches Brew Sessions.
I am also hunting around Ebay and Amazon to see if I can find the original square box set, as it would be nice to have it match my other Miles sets on the shelf.

A nice vinyl session earlier - Clifford Curzon (Schubert sonatas on Decca), John Williams & Itzakh Perlman (CBS Masterworks), a Discos Fuentes collection "Cumbia Cumbia" on World Circuit, Thelonious Monk at the Blackhawk on original Riverside.
Then some CDs - more Schubert (Trout Quintet) and a complete change with Mondo Morricone, trying to determine those tracks with Enrico Pieranunzi at the piano.
Now, Milcho Leviev and Dave Holland - Up & Down

Huw,
Do you know if Leviev had recorded anything lately?

Don't think so - a shame really. Will probably give Blues for the Fisherman a spin after this, will set the turntable spinning now so that it is ready.

More CDs from Koln today:
Excellent solo piano (not sure about the dodgy cover though!).
Steve Lehman Quintet - On Meaning. Densely textured but highly listenable contemporary US jazz.
Jean-Louis Matinier - Confluences. Lovely world/jazz fusion, featuring accordion, flute, guitar and bass. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon spent nursing a cold!
Cheers

Nils Wülker - Turning the Page
Liked him better in concert. Great symbiosis with his sax side man
Before in the car a must have for every body's collection:
Quadro Nuevo - Antakya
