Isn't it ? Not sure if you noticed, but the street scenes that you hear sometimes - they are street scenes in a sunny, warm, no: hot city quarter. Wonderful. I'm not up to build a list of top-2008 CD's, but this one belongs to it.

Oh, WHAT a classic ! Must have played this almost as often as DSOTM or Physical Grafity. In every state of mind (...) possible. Probably one of my first 20 (?) records, ever ? Not counting the Grimm's Märchen, here...

Having a drink with DenisA listening to Massive Attack whilst we wait for Marillion to come on stage at The Forum

Here, the rest of Aaron Parks. What I didn't hear, yesterday. Definitely makes me listen to him, again. (unlike the two Abdullah Ibrahim CD's, yesterday. They will be "filed"...)

Massive Attack...

Doesn't sound like an esoteric evening. Better leave those Emiliana Torrini CD's boxed Big Grin

Have fun !

Stefan

You have mentioned your top 20 albums a couple of times now. Could you post what they are. It would be very interesting.

Cheers

Radiohead live from Toronto RPM Club 1995 via Soundboard recording. Thom Yorke/Jonny Greenwood and company are amazing IMO.

On of my favourite albums of all time.

There is more gems on this album than most bands get through in a career.

Adrian...
Top-20 = my favorite recorded music. More a "concept" than a real list. With certain CD's I feel tehy will always be in the top. After years, even. Whether thsi list is 10,20 or 50 long ? Hmhh. Afraid, that I can't send a list...

First-20 = First purchases on music software I have ever made. Oddities like "Strange Locomotion" from "Siren" (with Kevin Coyne) or "The Animated Egg" (Great, great psychedelic rock - I am sure there must be someone on this forum, knowing them) which happpen to be amongst my top-30 (see above), as well under them.

Hope to be clearer...

One from the fabulous Richard Bona - can't understand a word he's singing about but love it anyhow.

Stefan,

I am real bad with rankings and lists but I will take a chance and rate this great disc as 8.719 on the Richter scale which I have been using since it was developed in 1935.
