Just back from a 3 day vacation to the Hunter Valley - my wine fridge is full to the max but I'm dying for some good music now.

Been out celebrating a friends birthday with wine, beer and a curry (followed by more wine). A couple of vinyl requests on their way home via my house.

Peppers, was pretty nice and right in the middle of everything. Hunter Gardens had a Xmas light special at night, just the right thing for the little one.

Very interesting...Why is it that the music of Bach just seems to translate so perfectly no matter what the medium? Hearing Bach this way seems to help clarify or distill the architecture of this music for me. I find it very instructive to listen to fugues this way. And besides, I could listen to the Passacaglia in c minor played on the triangle and still jump up and down with excitement because it is such a great work.....![]()
I've just ordered this...
despite trying to save all my disposable income, and not buying any more cd's for a while, but could not resist this.
Great cover picture, shouldn't judge a book (or cd) by it's cover really but i've a good feeling this is worth every penny! : )
