Are these a series speaker. Particularly the CL range or the Comptemporary range. Any experience appreciated.
Thanks

I've heard some older Ruark speakers. Sceptre and Talisman were about 500 quid and sounded quite good on the end of a nait/3.5 system.
The Equinox is a standmount. Great looking speaker, but didn't hear it in Naim system. Sounded a tad slow, but gorgeous mid. About 1800 quid.
They also make these huge looking multi driver affairs (forget the name). Heard these on CDX/XPS 82/250. Sounded great. Huge bass!
Give them a go. Great build quality.

I use an old pair of 1987 Sabres with the 72/140 and they sound fine

A musical speaker with an incredibly deep and tuneful bass.
They just need plenty of power as they are not terribly sensitive @ 87 dB/W/m.
Cheers,
Steve.

Started off with the original Swordsman, then got some Sabres (now used in bedroom system) and now running Talisman II's. New Classic series quite a big departure in terms of design & cost. Yet to hear them in a proper dem. Contemporary series aimed more at A/V use.
I like 'em.
Steve
PS - Anyone ever used the Broadsword? I've read that it was a very good speaker.
