Hookup Help.........please?

sorry for the 'i need help bit' but i want to know how to link up my hi-cap to my 112, step by step as it is not as easy as i anticipated.
also i wish to do the same thing to my cd3.5 (obviously not at the same time
) and need help with that too.
i have all the cables that came with each peice but when i got the hicap it came with a snaic only and i am not sure that i have all the appropriate cables....qam i missing a 4 pin din??
