Two weeks to cool their heels in Leicester, perfect opportunity to nip around to Cymbiosis for some duty free Naim.

or two weeks to prepare properly for the Ashes

Two weeks to go out on the lash?
Oh, I forgot, Symonds has gone home.

Nah, maybe if they were playing the Netherlands.

theres nothing worse than an aussie team looking for revenge after defeats...look out england the ashes will be a real contest i have no doubt about that ! still good to shut em up for now though.

I'm not too upset they lost, in fact kind of pleased they did. The team now get to knuckle down and prepare for the all important Ashes.
Watching an English / Australian Test Match develop will for most people be far more exciting than the slug it out 20/20 which is anyones at just about any given time.
We'll get it Free to Air on SBS.. Don't have to pay for it.. Yippeee..!

I'm surprised that anyone cares about knockabout pub team cricket.

Only when England win, otherwise it's an irrelevance.
So, basically, you're right, it's an irrelevance!

Looks like it definitely will be an irrelevance! I think England will find 153 very difficult to defend against India.

Unless we bowl them out for less than 153
Let's hope Ryan Sidebottom has an impact

Let's wait and see. You never know.....

Another convincing win - never had any doubts about this one - 153 always seemed a few runs too many for former world-champions against the best bowling attack around: though they had a good go.

India weren't playing Sri Lanka - or even South Africa

Sorry I'm late, I just had to nip to the shop for some barbecue sauce. My words don't taste so nice without it.

Just been watching it on the telly.
I couldn't believe Sri Lankan Malinga's bowling action. Has ever been looked at for chucking?

Oh yes - there was a full enquiry and they said he was OK.quote:Has ever been looked at for chucking?

As I always said, it's an irrelevance.
