The hamster got out during the night

Anyone got any tips for catching? (and no, cats, traps, etc are not acceptable suggestions...!)

Quite a large and rambling house with lots of little hidey holes behind things. We've had a good look, but can't see any trace. Perhaps there'll be more activity this evening?

I've got two days. JWM jnr gets back from Download on Monday.

Many years ago an old friend's hamster escaped and fell into a freshly made pot of soup (thankfully cold). He was fished out covered in the grease that hadn't yet been skimmed off. After a shampoo and blow dry he turned into a six inch diameter ball of cotton wool and was known after that as Fluff. It was one of the oddest looking things I've ever seen. I don't know what happened to the soup.
