I run a pair of Mordaunt Short MS10s on the back of a Naim 62/140, with great results. I have just purchased another pair, this time MS10i's for £40. I use s/h Linn Kan II stands which cost me £40 as well.
There is a pair of MS10s on eBay at present at the princely sum of £9.50 with only 20 hours to go, get in there quick. Then find some decent stands.
Properly set up you will be amazed at their dynamic range and the level of detail and bass you can get out of little boxes (ported). I don't think that they can be beaten at the price and if you don't like them you could always eBay them off again.

Loads of good speakers on Ebay at the moment including Celestion 3,Linn Index Plus,Royd A7,Heybrook HB1 and Ruark Swordsman.
I have listened to all of the above ......would work a treat with your system

Anselm,
I Was with a non hi-fi loving Friend in town one saturday afternoon browsing the local hi-fi shop. We listened to a pair of b&w 601's and as soon as the music started playing we turned to each other in disbelief, the intigration between the bass and treble drivers was the worst i've ever heard, the bass was big and slow and IIRC one noted.
The thing that amazed me the most was my friend ( who normally can't tell the difference between my naim system and his standard ford car stereo ) thought the sound coming from the speakers very odd, but most importantly he thought they sounded crap!...Don't do it!
The only cheap speakers i've owned are kef coda 7 & 8's and mission 731's all of these would sound better than the B&W's on your system

What is your budget for these?
Are you planning to keep them for months / years, or is this just a quick stopgap to let you hear your system at all??!?
!!! There's always money somewhere for the next upgrade... !!!

Kef Cresta 1s -- about 50 quid at Richers. Best new speaker available for the money IMHO, if they work with your room.
Used? -- original Heybrook HB1s as mentioned above. Perfectly fine with any Naim amp at all (again IMHO). Likely to ba about the same price.
Both need really good stands.
Best;

Heard all of the budget speaker combinations above in my 3 series system. Fan of the regas but they prolly hold their value a bit much! The advice is good. My Kans are still oh so gorgeous though
