Good Radio Station
675 Khz - 'Arrow Classic Rock'
Yes folks, that's glorious amplitude modulation and you probably won't get it in western UK, as it's a dutch station.
But; great music and a minimum of Dutch waffle.
Rawk!

I thought The Wireless were that unenlighted group of people who are not regular readers of the monitor of all things modern and music?
How else will people get to hear of the latest Albanian folk / speed metal hybrid?

Another Arrow fan - fantastic! Great 70s rock - just the traffic info (or whatever it is where they talk about 'kilometres') gets on my nerves.

It will always be 'The Wireless' to me.
I used to get 'Q' but am now 'Q-less' having got fed up with 18 year old twats, who know nothing; pontificating on Life, the Universe and Everything.
Speaking of 'The Wireless' - isn't it wonderful that the 'Radio Times' is still so called and holds up its head as the prime publication of its type.

Is there such a thing - sounds VERY intriguing if there is...
What would be ideal is Turkish instrumentation with metal crunching guitars and a psy-trance bassline/drum track - hmm, gimme some music making software - this could be an idea...
Back to Arrow though - if the signal is likely to be pants in Exeter, what's the likelihood of that (don't laugh!) Russ Andrews "AM booster" thingy working? I HATE MW, but then again it might be 'cos I've never bothered to use a decent aerial for it...
I'll check this station out tonight though - could be worth it and will be less compressed than Planet Rock on DAB
Make your choice, adventurous Stranger;
Strike the bell and bide the danger
Or wonder, till it drives you mad,
What would have followed if you had.

'From reading UK, now Exeter' ?

Alex,
Only 3 CDs in the car - another lot got stuck in the car CD palyer have have been send off to be unpicked.
Yes, BRMC - tracks 1-5, then 6 onwards.
As I listen to the CD, I am reminded of ..
The Jesus & Mary Chain (an obvious one)
then
The Downliners Sect
then
The Shadows of Knight
It must be true that there really are no new tunes to be invented.
