Cables for Naim pre to non Naim power

If I want to play around using my Naim preamps with other power amps (and also Naim power with non-Naim preamps) I take it I just need a 4-pin DIN to 2 RCA cable (I'd be powering the pre from a SNAPS).

I'm going to get the soldering iron out soon to dual rail the SNAPS so I'm considering making the cable up at the same time. Looking at the Maplins catalogue they seem to have all the bits I need but could anyone advise on a decent cable to use.

What commercially available cables are folks using the do this? I take it The Chord Company will make them up to demand.

Steve

I am not sure it is possible to do that without a ***cap, because of the power supply needed by the preamp.
When using a ***cap ; you might need a 4DIN-XLR (between the ***cap and your amp)
But i think it's hard to do because Naim's din -plugins are very special.
So i think , the easiest would be to do the cable on your own with a 4pin plug and a XLR plug.
