Micheál O'Domhnaill is dead

Formerly of the Bothy Band and too many other bands to mention died 9 July aged 54 having been an active musician throughout his life and never squandered his talent on LSD.

Yet another very sad loss - he may be on some more of the CDs in my collection, but I know he is on the excellent Triona supporting his sisters: Triona and Maighread, which I discovered through the forum when asking for advice on buying some Irish Trad music. He was a first rate guitarist.
