Well I finally buckled, after seeing it in a myriad of charity shops and car booties I finally stumped up 35p at an Andover Booty this weekend.

Do you know I could have bought a packet of chewits for that?

I'm afraid you are now in negative equity, and the market may never pick up, my estimate is that that you paid at least 150% over the going rate for this item. You can increase its value by gluing the record firmly into the cover, this obviously prevents accidental injury or distress to future generations. After carrying out this essential modification you are allowed under UK law to write ‘Safe copy’ on the cover and sell it on quite legally.

I paid 2p for all 6 wives of Henry 8th. Don't worry Tony, its Isoponned into its cover.

Ah here in lies another confession.

I also bought The 8 wives, however after the previous horror I have been to scared to even look at the front cover. Really what was I thinking? I let five good condition beach boys albums go for 3 quid each, in return for Rick Wakeman.

Someone shot me.

Snigger.

I have been on a management assessment day today, to assess if I am a good candidate to do the Two Year Management Training Course, amongst the delights was a spelling and maths test.

I totally crapped my self.

Something which shocked and upset me was my mathematics. I haven't really had to do anything in my head maths wise since leaving school.

Long division and fraction additions were totally beyond me, and I couldn't even remember how to multiply in the contect of the hand written way. I am really pissed off by this.

But fingers crossed I don't think I did to bad at the spelling.

No Nick, really!

When I am not typing at a zillion miles an hour I think that I am OK.

But the maths. If I fail because of this I will never forgive my self. I will find out in two weeks. frown

And I meant shoot.

I think.

Rick Wakeman box set from Amazon - 8 cd's for only £93.99 or the price of about 15m of NACA5.

Tim Bowness was asking me (jokingly of course) If I was getting out the cape for forthcoming Henry Fool Gigs in the Footie changing room recently. Adam (21) was listening and said 'Rick Wakeman?' Turns out he's a big fan of Wakeman & Yes. And another friend Liz (21) got the Steve Hackett Boxset for her 21st - she even kew who Fudge Smoth was.

Weird eh?

Indeed I have often been asked why someone as young as me listens to all them 'old' groups.

I must admit though, YES were good live but looking a bit well, old.

I heard the synthesiser version ages ago.

The orchestral version is live and quite fun.
I like a lot of the music but the narration
gets boring after a while.

Probably prefer the synthesiser version.
