Going to Bristol

Chaps

Mrs Mick and I have just got back from an extended holiday in Tenerife and are currently very cheesed off.

Being a typical middle aged couple, we pack half of our worldly goods in two enormous suitcases. Mrs Mick packs nearly half her wardrobe and I do the same. These cases are viewed with horror by taxi drivers who fear for their backs when lugging them around.

Unfortunately, whilst Mrs Mick and I were flown back to the UK, both of our suitcases were flown somewhere else in the world and are not expected to be delivered back to us until Tuesday.

Therefore we may attend Sundays Hifi show in a somewhat casual style of dress, I may have to wear jeans as I have every pair of trousers that I own in the bloody suitcase.

Anyway, the purpose of this posting is to enquire what time is the Sunday meeting scheduled for.

Regards

Mick

Why would you take all that stuff ? You need to get yourself two carry on style weekend suitcases with wheels, as used by flight attendants, etc, and learn how to pack with the minimum of folding.

Hope you had a good time on holiday Mick despite the baggage.

Anyway, the purpose of this posting is to enquire what time is the Sunday meeting scheduled for.

I believe it is 3.30pm (15.30hrs for those with handlebar mustaches!) But you need to ask for tickets at the Naim stand on a first come first served basis and it doesn't seem to be exclusive to the Forum!

Might see you there?

So there is just the one closed session each day. What time is it likely you would need to get to the stand to make sure you get a ticket.
Bit disappointing there's not a forum session.
I'll probably make an effort and wear jeans too.

Marco is picking me up at about 11 am tomorrow, so we should get to the show by 12:30.

3:30 at the Naim closed dem?

There is always the bar afterwards. wink

Steve.

This years forum sessions will be at 3.30pm on each day. All one has to do is go to the Naim info desk on the mezzanine and tell the nice lady that you're a forum contributor and you'd like a ticket. In the interest of fairness I'd like to think that "a ticket for your mates wifes best mates husband " wont be the order of the day. Forum sessions are usually a bit different so your mates wifes best mates husband should go to any of the other 18 dems over the course of the 3 days. Hope this all makes sense. And if anyone wants to think of a "special" password..........

This might clear up confusion about whether there is only one closed sesh. a day...
