Amazon Link

I think some of Amazon's 'reviewers' are starting to take the piss. Smile

Is that £8.99 or 8 for 99P? I think we all know what it should be! There are some good laughs on the link.

Heard them on Chris Moyles this morning they were ironically (i think) hilarious. The cd may well not be to the purveyors of good taste on this Forum Big Grin but amazingly all the proceeds go to children's charities. Heard a couple of tracks and then some Ill Devo on Steve Wrights show and I found it difficult to choose which one I didn't want to buy first. Winker

I think they may be taking the water a little, this is part of the first review:-

Don't Go Breaking My Heart - This is a brand new number written by Katie. She wrote it herself. On the fridge. With magnetic letters. The original fridge is now in the British Museum. It's a national treasure

I see that one of the 'reviews' that was there earlier is no longer present...

Even though it may be for charity, my thoughts are with the production team and engineers who suffered for their art...

Have to say that those are some of the best reviews I have seen in ages. I can't remember when I have laughed so much.

I also notice that Blue Mask (one of the reviewers) also did a review of Britney's soon to be ex's last dreadful cd. Maybe he/she are serious. My god if they are, doesn't bear thinking about.

Notice how Amazon haven't put up any samples.

I thought you meant the other Kate'n'Pete.
I might buy this to give to unlucky sod for Christmas.

This must certainly be one cd that would not sound good on a Naim system!

Charging £8.99 is a bit of a joke!

Perhaps they are relying on one sale at £8.99 rather then 9 at 99p!! - even one sale has to be a little optermistic!

But I guess it is for charity (I think I'd rather just make the donation rather then endure the music!)

It'll be a hot favorite at Asda. First rule in business: Know your market.

Just think you wife might come home with a 2 for the price of 1 offer. Only at Asda, Tesco, Woolies, Sainsbury's. Wonder how long it will take beofre they hit the bargain bins, hours, minutes, seconds?

One last thing remember don't piss anyone off before Xmas as you never know what you might get

What bothers me is that somebody in the record industry is either very cruel to his/her artists or customers. Nice reviews though.

You know it will be all over telly and the chavs will be buying it.

Radio 2's album chart show last evening stumbled across this gem of an album - couldn't bring themselves to play a whole track, so they played clips of a few.

Now here's a question which could start a good argument in a pub quiz - which was the lesser of two evils - the single track or the sampler?

Extra-ordinary!!
