hi all,
we as a family want to tour round france next summer in a mobile home or motor home, not sure what they are called. anyway can anyone recommend somewhere in the essex region where i can rent one ?

Scotty - if you rent one in France you will get a left hand drive which could well be a lot less strain to drive apart from avoiding changing gear with the window winder. You can then balance the cost of transporting a UK van across the channel compared to the cost of shipping the Hammer and Nails across to the part of France where you will pick up the motor home.

hi derek,
i dont see the gears as a problem as ill get an automatic gearbox. left hand drive would be useful i agree BUT ive driven my right hooker car through france without problems.
thanks for the advice though.
