The perfect woman?
Posted by: acad tsunami on 15 September 2007
Ok, so apart from your girlfriend, mother and/or wife who is your perfect woman?
I quite fancy Rosamund Pike - drop dead gorgeous and brains as well (first class degree from Oxford)and she plays the piano and cello (mother an accomplished opera singer - father professional violinist)and is fluent in french and german and according to my spies is a very down to earth likable young lady.

Not sure about the cello, Acad, but I'd definitely let her have a fiddle!

Can Mrs Acad have a look here? George

She is stunning AND she'll protect you!

In that case I need no protection. George
Posted on: 15 September 2007 by Sandy8
I'd want protection from her...

I would need no protection from Hattie Jacques [left] and Joan Hickson is rather nice too! A shame I was not round soon enough to meet her before John Le Mesurier! They married in 1949.
Hattie rulz! George

But they divorced in 1965 and it seems she had a thing for younger men - you would have had a chance George.
from wikipedia: Hattie Jacques was married to the actor John Le Mesurier from 1949 to 1965. They had two sons. At the time of their divorce, the media were given the impression that the fault was on Le Mesurier's side. It was later revealed that Jacques had been having an affair with a younger man and had left her husband for him. Le Mesurier had gone along with the charade so as not to damage her career.

Dear Acad!
I would need to have been born a decade and a half earlier for there to have been a possibility of being cited as a third party that would have been anything other than pederasty!
Dear Adam,
Much as I used to enjoy watching "Wilson" in Dad's Army, I cannot say I ever "fancied" him!
ATB from George

Hi Trev
The easiest way is to click the add attachment link under the text box of the 'post a reply' box.
The other way is to join a picture hosting site like image shack. You can then upload pictures to the site and copy and paste a link into your reply.

A friend of mine was at school with Rosamund Pike - I'm trying to get a Facebook connection sorted out at the moment!
