"Love Is Real"

I was considering the many thoughts and opinions aired on the Gay Marriage, pre
USA-election decoy thread, and came to these conclusions for whatever they may
be worth to anybody ? I think it's fair to assume that most contributors in this
cell are westernised in thought and lifestyle, and our reactions seem to show
that at least ? I know it's titled U.S. but that aspect seems to have gone to
the wind long ago, as well as the basic theme, as we often do in these threads,
me probably being one of the biggest culprits, though I do on occassion try to
maintain some semblence of connection however slim it may be ? (laughs in the
background).
Without being cynical (for once) I thought of all the legally
(Church & State) happily long term Married couples (with Kids) right throughout
our little world that have always been Gay, Bisexual, etc, or have changed their
sexual orientations over time (their are many of them I'm sure ?) and depending
on their status, community tollerance, and personal Character, would/could be
quite alarmed by a possible Nazi - Religious style Inquisition into their
innermost Private thoughts in the name of Freedom and Democracy.
Fear is what
we're talking here in reality, a great human defence mechanism, but also a great
weapon when missused by the darker side that we all possess, a balance must be
found and maintained (A very tall order indeed) but there's no other way
forward). So to cut a long story long this rule (unfortunately Hookes Law can't
be applied) I feel is relevent to everything we do or think, and a conscious
awareness of the fact is a great way to start, even for our Brian, and yours
truly, and Throb old son, Fulham are going to get their arses kicked at Upton
Park next week, but after all, it's only a game mate, innit.
