CDS vs CDX

I have a CDX ( bare) and an trying out a CDS and recapped CDPS. The nextel ring is in great shape on the head unit. The CDX has a little more detail but the CDS is sounding nice. The CDS has a different bass, not as tight as the CDX, but has more bass.I'm pondering this, I guess what I like is the winner. Should I sell my CDX and keep the CDS? What do you think? I suggest if you want to move up the amp food chain (especially to 52/Scap), the CDX will reveal its weaknesses. CDS is a must. Plus the original is something of a classic.

The CDX is a fine CD player, especially with the additon of an XPS.

However, if you prefer the sound of the CDS then go for it.
