I have my B+W CDM1 Se speakers on Atacama 724 stands, filled with about 12kg of sand.

I'm wondering if an open frame stand might be a better choice ? I'll have a spare amp soon for TV/Movie sound so if I'll need some stands for that TV/Movie system speakers.

If open stands are better for the main rig, I'll use the Atacamas in the TV/Movie system.

The best I've heard are sound anchor. A heavy stand is needed to control and deepen the ripe bass range of the CDM1.
