upgrade advice please

Current system: CD5, Nait5, CableTalk 3.1

Hi folks,
I've just added some older Dynaudio 40's (still v.nice speakers) on Atacma SE24 stands to the above system. I've noticed the sound seems a little recessed now althought the bass weight is much improved and the treble smoother than the stop gap Kef Cresta 1's I was using.

Would an upgrade to NAC A5 speaker cable be worthwhile? I know the CableTalk is quite warm sounding which probably isn't helping the situation.
Other than that the speakers are 4 ohm designs, what would be the best way to increase the power output with the Nait5?

Thanks

Dave

Naim kit is designed to work with Naim cable. You will probably be surprised at the improvement NACA 5 makes

Flatcap 2 and NACA 5 will transform your system.

Hi-cap your CD5 and replace the Cable Talk 3.1 with Naca5 and you'll be laughing.

I used to have Atacama SE24s filled with yellow kiln-dried sand. They were ok but I've since heard JM Lab's wooden stands and they really make a huge improvement - they are light and don't need to be mass-loaded to kill resonances - and the groove.

Steve.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

If I splurged for a Flatcap2 this would be an off board power supply right? I guess this would power the pre-amp leaving the power amp just to do its job. Would I get more power this way or would a change to using the Nait5 as a pre and buying a dedicated power amp be the only way?

Thanks
Dave
